Chemtica USA began growing its own direction in 2007, branching out from CTI—a family-owned company founded in Costa Rica and rooted in a deep respect for the natural world. What started as a small, science-driven venture has flourished into an international network, guided by the same couple who planted the original seed and continue to own the company today.
As CTI expanded globally, Chemtica USA (or CTUSA) was established to bring that vision into the U.S. market with the same care, curiosity, and commitment to quality. CTUSA is led by the founders’ daughter, carrying forward her family’s mission, while production is thoughtfully managed by a partner team who has grown alongside the company for many years.
Our work draws heavily from nature’s own designs, using plant-derived compounds as the inspiration behind many of our products—crafted either in the USA or Costa Rica, depending on what best supports consistency and sustainability. While our formulas remain proprietary, our principles are simple: respect nature, honor the science, and deliver solutions you can trust.
From our earliest days to today, our roots remain the same—family-led, nature-focused, and dedicated to creating products that reflect the integrity of where we began.
