When insect populations — such as bark beetles or emerald ash borers — go unchecked, they cause widespread tree mortality that diminishes timber quality, reduces biodiversity, and increases the risk of catastrophic wildfires due to the buildup of dry, dead fuel. Our multi-funnel traps are available in 3 colors - black, purple, green - and in 4, 8, 12 or 16-funnel configurations, with your choice of wet or dry collection cups. For enhanced performance, traps can also be ordered with Fluon applied.
We also have various glue traps available upon request.
By using species specific lures and traps, we are able to control the damage and spread of many moth species that cause defoliation of hundreds of tree species, including oak, willow, and hemlock trees, which makes them susceptible to diseases and death.
Our BeetleBlock pouches are designed to protect trees from many different species; pine beetles, douglas-fir beetles, spruce beetles, engravers, ips, and other bark and ambrosia beetles.
