Protecting trees from invasive and damaging insects is a cornerstone of sustainable forestry, as these pests can destabilize entire ecosystems and lead to massive economic losses. When insect populations — such as bark beetles or emerald ash borers — go unchecked, they cause widespread tree mortality that diminishes timber quality, reduces biodiversity, and increases the risk of catastrophic wildfires due to the buildup of dry, dead fuel. By investing in protection, we safeguard ourselves from economic losses and unbalanced ecosystems, ensuring a better world and a better future for all.

By using species specific lures and traps, we are able to control the damage and spread of many moth species that cause defoliation of hundreds of tree species, including oak, willow, and hemlock trees, which makes them susceptible to diseases and death.
